A little bit of curvature in the penis is not at all abnormal," says sex therapist Ian Kerner, Ph.D., author of He Comes Next. Just like length, the curvature of a guy's penis will fall somewhere on a spectrum from straight as an arrow to a little bit bent. It's totally normal and shouldn't cause him any discomfort or stress.
The one exception: a more extreme curve that causes pain or makes sex impossible, known as Peyronie's disease. It's characterized by scar tissue inside the penis, but not much is known about the cause or treatment of the condition, says Kerner. If your guy has a curve that hurts or makes sex painful, encourage him to see a urologist.
